Omri Suissa
CEO
Omri, our tenacious CEO, entwines his experience with his unabating passion for crafting extraordinary properties that both inspire and defy the conventional. His expert navigation through the intricacies of identifying, acquiring, and amplifying the potential of real estate opportunities, all while steering construction processes towards success, has carved out Whisper Homes’ niche in the industry.
Outside of his professional life Omri enjoys spending time with his family and playing underwater hockey.
Heidy Parkhurst
CFO
Heidy, our multi-talented CFO and Director of HR, has been a pivotal gear in the Whisper Homes machinery since April 2021. Balancing the scales of financial precision and human resource management, she flawlessly directs the fiscal symphony and ensures every member finds their beat in our harmonic team environment. Outside the world of budgets and spreadsheets, Heidy unwinds by embarking on trips, conjuring culinary delights for loved ones, and trekking through nature’s splendid trails.
Adrian Rodriguez Martinez
Director Of Quality Control
Since stepping into Whisper Homes in November 2022, Adrian has sculpted our properties from the ground up, manifesting the finest homes with a deft touch honed over years in Bay Area construction. Directing, organizing, and controlling projects from inception to culmination, his expertise ensures a seamless creation process. Off the clock, Adrian swaps construction sites for outdoor adventure and his favorite, motorcycling weekends, interspersed with cherished family visits.
Peter Trapolino
Responsible Managing Employee/Project Manager
Peter is a licensed General Contractor in both Nevada and California. His many years of expertise in the construction industry have encompassed Industrial, Commercial, and Hospitality, with an emphasis on Custom Residential developments. His Wife, 8 grandchildren, 2 Great Danes, and a herd of cats take up most of his free time. He does find time to occasionally ride his motorcycle.
Graham Heinan
Superintendent
Dependable, hardworking, and committed to excellence, he brings a strong work ethic and dedication to every project from start to finish. With extensive experience in residential construction, he is skilled in blueprint interpretation, quality control, subcontractor coordination, and change order management. His ability to communicate effectively, make sound decisions, and maintain high safety and craftsmanship standards helps ensure projects are completed on schedule and to the highest level of quality. He takes pride in building lasting relationships with clients, trade partners, and teammates while contributing to successful, well-executed custom homes.
Chris Peternell
Project Manager
Chris has a unique combination of construction, design, and architectural skills. Thorough understanding of all aspects of construction technology supported by 35 years of experience. Chris started in the Carson/Reno/Tahoe area as a laborer in 1990 and worked his way into framing homes for 20+ years, from building semi-custom homes to commercial projects of varying sizes. Worked his way to being a project manager for large custom homes throughout the Tahoe area for the past 14 years and has brought his expertise to Whisper Homes. When he is not putting his mind into projects, He enjoys family time, yard work, and being outdoors among the pines.
Gina Bartels
Project Manager
Gina Bartels is an experienced Project Manager with more than 25 years in project management within the construction industry. Known for her organization, attention to detail, and commitment to efficiency, she plays a key role in guiding projects from preconstruction through completion while fostering strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners.
A lifelong resident of Carson Valley, Gina’s passion for construction began at just 14 years old, cleaning and painting spec homes for her family of builders. That early experience sparked a career dedicated to the building industry. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, making the most of local lakes and trails, and caring for animals.
Robert James
Project Manager
With more than 32 years of experience in the construction industry, Robert James brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and hands-on expertise to every project. Beginning his career as a carpenter, Robert spent two decades honing his craft and developing a deep appreciation for quality workmanship, precision, and practical problem-solving. Over the past 13 years, he has served as a Superintendent and Project Manager, successfully leading custom residential projects from preconstruction through final completion.
Robert’s extensive field experience, combined with his strong project management and leadership skills, allows him to anticipate challenges, coordinate teams effectively, and deliver exceptional results. He is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, communication, and efficiency while helping create homes that exceed client expectations.
Sara Boer
Office Administrator / Social Media
Sara, our Project Administrator, brings a diverse professional background and a natural eye for organization, problem-solving, and creativity to her role at Whisper Homes. After first moving to Truckee in 2013, she left to Southern California before ultimately returning and setting roots in Incline Village in 2020, realizing that nowhere matched the energy of Tahoe. She’s inspired by the mountain lifestyle, the close-knit community, and the stunning architecture that makes the region so special. Outside of work, Sara loves to travel, stay active, and spend time with family, always finding new experiences that fuel her curiosity and passion for growth.
Maritza Sanchez-Corona
Office Administrator & HR Assistant
Maritza, our Office Administrator & HR Assistant , orchestrates administrative symphonies with her meticulous attention to detail and adept team collaboration since her arrival in Carson City in November 2022. Beyond her unwavering dedication to her responsibilities, she embarks on adventures exploring her new surroundings, traversing new territories, and visiting her beloved family and friends back in the Bay Area, always seeking new stories to bring back to our Whisper Homes family.
